Please join us at our Slow Food the County AGM, to be held in the hall above Books & Company (take the stairwell on the east side inside the bookstore). We will start at 1:00 pm with the first hour being devoted to our guest speaker, Chef Jeff Crump, author of the book "Earth to Table" and founder of Slow Food Ontario. At 2:00 p.m., we will begin our AGM, during which time we will bring you up-to-date on what we have been doing this past year, and our plans for the coming year. As part of the AGM we will also be holding elections for our Executive. The proposed slate is as follows:
Chair: Peter Fleming;
Vice-Chair and Treasurer: Cynthia Peters;
Secretary: Diane Rhéaume.
This will be followed by an opportunity for you to mingle with fellow Slow Foodies over tea, coffee and desserts. We look forward to seeing you there!
